Hey_
I’m Brendan Byrne. A designer by trade, and in life.
My design philosophy revolves around communication, both visual and spoken. Learning what the client and the user want is my priority, and the design flows after. Sketching, storyboarding, prototyping, and renders are driven by design workshops, collaboration, and letting the dream and vision run wild.
Outside of work
I still design. I avidly love altering the space I live and function in. There’s something special to me, eating at the dining table I made, lit by a pendant I also designed. I recently started a side business, BYBR LLC. (website pending) that I design and create out of, working with other companies to realize their own products and meet prototyping needs. And even still, I draw and plan home designs (see Free Time) to one day realize my dream of building a custom home.
Outside of design
The outdoors and travel are my other passions. I bike, ski, speed skate, backpack, camp, you name it. The outdoors have been a part of me since childhood and continue to be. I try to travel as much as I’m able. After spending a year in Japan as a HS student, I learned the value of broadening my world perspective. To this day, travel continues bolster my design thinking views on life. I see it as both enjoyment and a valuable life tool.
